YouTube Booted by France, England

Although they once fought for more than a century during the Hundred Years' War, it seems sports copyrights have been enough to unite old foes against a common enemy. The lawsuit was filed last month in a US District Court. The Premier League is aiming to gain class-action status for the suit, which argues that it is YouTube's responsibility to use the necessary tools to prevent copyright-protected material from ... (view more)

Yahoo Photos Will Soon 'Flickr' Out

If you're a Yahoo Photos user, you'll soon be moving your precious online family albums elsewhere. Controversial YouTube Video Posted, Ripped Down

YouTube, in many cases, represents the open-source wonder and freedom of the Internet. Google's purchase of the site, ... which allows users to upload just about any type of amateur home video, only vaulted YouTube into the mainstream. Now, it appears Google ownership may lead to limits on the kind of content posted, with the recent disappearance of a video showing John McCain singing -- yes singing -- his hopes to "bomb Iran." Yahoo Groups Hit by 'Duplicate Bug'

Oops! It looks like Yahoo has dropped the ball. In releasing an update to increase the speed of the system, a bug has caused Yahoo Groups members' inboxes to be flooded with duplicate messages.
