Scammers are using bogus antivirus renewal demands as their latest money-grabbing tactics. The attacks appear to target both people's money and their account details. The warning came from consumer group "Which" after it spotted two different fake ... emails. Essentially, it's a list of celebrity names that too often result in web surfers visiting malware-laced websites. This year the most dangerous celebrity is Lily ... According to a recent report from security firm McAfee, Chinese cyber criminals have been leading coordinated and covert attacks on major Western energy companies since November 2009. McAfee Update Crashes 'Hundreds of Thousands' XP PCs

A recent security update from antivirus company McAfee has resulted in an estimated "hundreds of thousands" of crashed Windows XP computers. The issue appears to be widespread, causing PCs to crash, freeze, or be stuck in and endless reboot loop, ... thereby rendering the PCs completely unusable.
