Disk Bench is a way to measure how fast your computer is. It works by copying a file from location A to location B, times the process, and deletes the file from B again. The other way to test the speed of your PC with this program is to choose Create File. This way it just creates a file (consisting of a repeated 128 byte string). So if you only have one hard disk, this is the optimal test for you.
